  • Olivia Roumel

    Olivia Roumel

Olivia Roumel is a voice, guitar, and piano teacher and has taught private lessons since 2019. She works with a variety of ages and levels, but with everyone, her focus is to help students discover their unique voice and connection to music. Music, and especially singing, is often a vulnerable and expressive experience. Holding a safe space to help students understand where and why they hold tension is key to finding your true voice as an artist.

Olivia shapes a lot of lessons around ear training, building solid repertoire, and knowing how to communicate confidently in musical settings. She has been performing professionally as a singer-songwriter for seven years and shares these tools from direct experience. She also specializes in hybrid lessons where the student’s goal is to sing and accompany themselves on piano or guitar.

Liv studied vocal jazz at Berklee College of Music and finished her Bachelor’s in Music from Naropa University in 2019. Though she spends a lot of time in styles that branch from the jazz tradition, she was classically trained as a vocalist and can help students in many stylistic realms.

Whether you want to play in a band, prep for college auditions, or want insight with addressing specific musical blocks, Olivia is here to support and offer resources. She has a true passion for working one-on-one with folks and helping to shape their personalized goals.
